Dates lined up!

As you can probably imagine we are so ready to get the ball rolling on paperwork, fingerprint checks, background checks, home study, etc.
Growing up in the "microwave generation" I'm used to getting what we want with in reasonable timing. That is not necessarily how adoption works and the Lord is dealing with me on that front. In my opinion, give me all the paperwork to fill out in one big wod, I'll turn it in the next day, get fingerprinted the next day, and if everyone is using computers, the internet, and email, we should be approved within a week and ready to go!
That, isn't how the sluggish ball rolls. It actually takes 3-4 months to get ready. Ugh....tick tock tick tock.
But that's ok, as we are still fundraising, praying for our hearts to be ready to receive, and working out the "who gets what rooms" situation. (We still want Jules to be able to come back here next year if she re-applies to our church's 24/7 program)

But if you'd like to join us in prayer, here are some dates that we do have towards progression.
This next Friday, March 11th we have our first meeting with our social worker. She will go over the INs and OUTs of the program and the way it all works for us and spoon feed us on what to do.
Then we start our Home Study on Thursday, March 31st. This is where (we suppose) they come in our home and make sure we're not totally nuts, have torture chambers in our closets, and don't live like total pigs. Would anyone like to clean my house the day before? (giggles)

Anywho, so that is our update for now. We are anxiously awaiting. As I'm sure we will be doing a lot of over the next year or so. No telling how long it will take. We are again, just taking comfort that God is bigger, better, than we can imagine and writing our story for us. He's such a good Author!
